Haryana Police to fill up 90 vacancies

Chandigarh, Sept 6 (UNI) The Haryana Police has decided to fill up 980 vacancies of different posts.

These vacancies included 485 posts of Computer Operator Constables, 227 posts of Constables (Operator) in Telecommunication Wing, 100 posts of male Constable Buglers, 46 posts of male Constables in Mounted Armed Police and one post of male Nalbandh Constable. For sportspersons, there would be 97 posts of male Constables and 24 posts of female Constables.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said the benefit of reservation would be given to those candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes who were residents of Haryana.

Other relaxations will be given as per rules and instructions of the state government.

In case of sportspersons applying for the post of Constables, outstanding sportspersons, only those who have secured position in National School Games, national level tournaments organised by recognised national federations or who have obtained 1st and 2nd position in State level tournaments organised by recognised State Federation or Association will be put through physical efficiency test under the existing recruitment rules.
