Chandigarh to host National Theatre Festival

Chandigarh, Sept 6 (UNI) The Rashtriya Natya Parv-2007 will be organised in the Tagore Theatre here from September 7 to 13 in which stage artistes from all-over the country would get opportunities to show their talents through various drama performances.

While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department said that the festival was being organised jointly by the Norhtern Region Cultural Centre, Allahabad, Northern Region Cultural Centre, Patiala and Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department, Haryana.

The spokesman said the main motive to organise the Rashtriya Natya Parv was to encourage the stage artistes and to create interest among the people for the stage drama and other artistic performances.
