Weston launches TV with built-in FM service in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Sept 5 (UNI): Weston, the consumer electronics Brand of Dixon Technology (India) Private Ltd launched its firstever 14 inch Weston colour Television with FM Radio in the capital city of Uttarakhand here today.

Launching company's two models FM 102 and FM 151 in a local hotel Chief Managing Director Sunil Wachani said that his company would launch its larger version (21'' and 29'') television with built-in FM service by end of this month. He said that gradually the company would launch these new products all over the country. He said that latest Ultimate One Chip (UOC) technology has been used.

''Use of this new technology solution in today's television sets will differentiate us from competitors, as it provides high definition picture quality,'' he said, adding that the products priced from Rs 4200 onwards.

Mr Wachani said that company's colour television sales went up by 21 per cent and DVD numbers grew by 50 per cent over last financial year first four months.
