Two killed in a roof collapse in Punjab

Amritsar, Sep 5: A 24-year-old woman and her three-year-old nephew were killed when the roof of the room in which they were sleeping collapsed in Islamabad locality of the city last night, police today said.

The victims were identified as Kanwaljit Kaur and Nonu, whose father is a driver in Dubai. The two were staying in th e house of Onkar Singh, maternal uncle of Kanwaljit Kaur.

The dead bodies, after post mortem, were handed over to their relatives.
