Two die, seven injured in road accident

Jammu, Sep 5 (UNI) At least two persons including a BEd student,were killed and seven others injured when a light motor vehicle skidded-off and rolled down about 300 feet in a Nallah, near Ramsoo Police Post in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, here this morning.

Sources said the Tata Sumo was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when it skidded off the road near Ramsoo at about 0630 hrs resulting in injuries to all the nine passengers including the driver of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle Nisar Ahemd and Raju, a BEd student from Rajasthan succumbed to injuries while seven others were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar where three of them are reported to be very critical, sources added.
