Tourists from five ASEAN countries arrive on a trip in Bihar

Patna, Sep 05 (UNI) A tourist delegation of 125 members from five ASEAN countries - Combodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar - arrived here today on a five-day trip to boost religious tourism in Buddhist nations.

Official sources said here that the trip was finalised in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and the delegation would visit various tourist spots, including Patna, Vaishali and Gaya districts in Bihar.

The delegation consisted of Ministers, top bureaucrats and distinguished personalities from media of the said ASEAN countries.
