Oppn stalls Par proceedings on N-deal issue
New
Delhi,
Sep
5:
The
Opposition
today
stalled
the
proceedings
of
both
Houses
of
Parliament
today
on
the
Indo-US
nuclear
deal,
forcing
their
adjournment
for
the
day
virtually
without
transacting
any
business.
The BJP-led NDA trooped into the well and raised slogans against the setting up of a UPA-Left panel to go into the deal. The government, instead, should constitute a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the controversial agreement, they demanded.
