Modi leads businessmen's delegation to China

Gandhinagar, Sep 5 (UNI) Gujarat's leading industrialists and businessmen, led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi, today left for China to participate in a four-day World Expo Centre, to be held at Dalian city between September 6 and 8.

The delegation, consisting of 17 leading business tycoons from Gujarat, will participate in World Expo Centre, organised by World Economic Forum (WEF), in Dalian city of China, an official release said here.

As many as 80 countries are participating in this World Expo Centre (WEC).

With Gujarat being the most developed state in India, a special invitation was sent to Mr Modi by the Chinese authorities, the release said.

During the visit, the delegation will hold a special meeting with Klaus Schwab, founder president of WEF. Besides this, the delegation will also hold trade-business meetings with delegations of Japan, Singapore, China, Australia and other leading countries. Gujarati tycoons will also hold one-to-one meetings with industrialists as well as businessmen from other countries.

Mr Modi will participate in a board-room discussion on 'Enterpreneurship Perspective-Culture' on September 6. Next day, he will give a detailed presenation on 'Gujarat Growth Engine of Indian Economy', the release added.
