Kalam accepts invitation to be Hon Prof of JSS Mahavidyapeetha

Bangalore, Sep 5 (UNI) Former President A P J Abdul Kalam has accepted the invitation to become the Honorary professor of Mysore-based JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs over 300 educational institutions in India and abroad.

In a release here today, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary B N Betkerur said the administration and the faculty were overwhelmed by Mr Kalam's acceptance.

Mr Kalam would be delivering five to six special lectures in a year besides interacting with the students.

In the first of such lectures, he would deliver a special lecture at Sree Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in Mysore shortly, the release added.
