Handicaps to get vocational training

Gandhinagar, Sep 5 (UNI) Physically challenged people will be provided training in various vocations at the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre of Industrial Training Institute for handicaps at Naroda in Kubernagar area of Ahmedabad.

According to a release, training will be imparted in radio-TV, mechanic, sewing machine, stenography, commercial practice, computer, armchair making and coil winding, refrigeration and air conditioning, hand composing and book binding, auto-repairing and metal turner fitter.

The candidates will be entitled to scholarships as per the State Government norms. The minimum percentage requirement for admission is 40.
