Goa Govt to introduce new education policy soon: CM

Panaji, Sep 5 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today announced that his government will soon come out with a new education policy right from the Pre-Primary level to bring much-needed improvement in the education system.

He said an Advisory Council of educationists will be constituted, which will frame the guidelines and other apsects related to education policy and the same will be implemented by the government.

Mr Kamat was speaking as chief guest after presenting state awards to five teachers attached to primary, secondary and higher secondary section for their meritorious services to the society on the occasion of 46th Teachers Day, celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Sarvpalli Radhkrishnan, the philosopher and statesman, at a function held at Kala Academy here.
