Four get capital punishment in murder case

Nawada, Sep 5 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded capital punishment to four people for their involvement in a maassacre at Dola village in the district, engineered on August 11, 2005.

The court judge Sudarshan Kumar Rai awarded the punishment to all the four accused after they were found guilty in the case.

Those convicted were--Sachidanand Sinha, Rajkumar Sinha, Mahesh Singh and Rajaram Singh.

The court, however acquitted another accused Ravi Shankar Singh as no substantial evidence was found against him to prove his complicity in the case.

Earlier, the court had acquitted seven accused in connection with this case while three others were still traceless.

According to the charges, the convicts had fired on the people sitting in a temple at Dola village under Pakribram police station area in the district on August 11,2005 in which five people were killed.
