Film 'Chak De India' exempted from entertainment tax in MP
Bhopal, Sep 5 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has issued a notification to exempt the Shahrukh Khan-starrer 'Chak De India' from entertainment tax in the state.
An announcement in this regard was made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently, an official release said here today.
The film would be screened free of entertainment tax in all the cinema halls of the state for three months provided that the rate of admission prevailing prior to the issue of this notification shall be reduced by the proprietor of the cinema hall to extent the exemption granted.
Besides, a seal of 'tax free' should be put on tickets of this film, the release added.
