Fierce gun battle erupts between Maoist and JSJM

Latehar, Sep 5 (UNI) A fierce gun battle erupted between the proscribed CPI (Maoist) and Jharkhand Sangharsh Janmukti Morcha at 1700 hrs at Aan village under Chandwa police station, about 25 km from this district today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sukhdeo Oraon along with CRPF personnel have already left for the encounter site.

Encounter was still on as details were still awaited, a senior police officer said.
