Extend all goods trains till Una town, Dhumal urges Lalu

Una, Sept 5 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said he had written a letter to Union Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav asking him to extend all goods trains till here.

All the goods train services on the Delhi-Chururu-Takarla broad gauge line, which terminate at Kiratpur Sahib, should be extended up to here, he said in a release here.

Mr Dhumal said he had requested the Railways Minister to extend all goods train services at least till Una, which would not only reduce the transportation cost for the traders of the state, but also save the tax which has being paid to the Punjab Government since the goods were downloaded there.
