Call money rates ends at 6.20 pc

Mumbai Sept 5 (UNI) Call money rates closed today at 6.20 per cent in quiet trading at the intra-bank call money market.

According to market watchers, the short-term interest rates have been hovering around 6.10-6.30 per cent since the last couple of days on account of limited demand for funds.

A treasury bill amounting to Rs 5500 crore was auctioned today.

Call rates are expected to be range bound on account of ample liquidity in the system, analysts opined.
