BJP National Executive meet on Sep 21

Bhopal, Sep 5 (UNI) The three-day national executive meeting of the BJP would commence here from September 21 with a resolve to throw out the Congress-led-UPA Government at the Centre.

BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told a press conference here today that the meeting was of great importance.

''Earlier, national executive meeting took place in Bhopal in 1996. The NDA government led by Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Centre was formed two years later in 1998,'' he pointed out.

Asserting that 2007-08 was of great importance from political viewpoint, Mr Naqvi said besides Lok Sabha elections assembly elections would take place in eleven states in near future.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, BJP President Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states besides 200 party office bearers including state BJP Presidents would take part in the meeting.
