Air-Arabia makes emergency landing at Patna airport
Patna, Sep 5 (UNI) An Air Arabia Boeing aircraft made an emergency landing at Patna airport this afternoon in the wake of a possible technical snag and for refuelling.
Preliminary reports indicated that the plane ran short of fuel and had to make an emergency landing at the Patna airport after seeking necessary permission from its Air Traffic Controller.
However, the exact route of the aircraft was not immediately known, though arrangements were being made to refuel it.
None of the passengers were allowed to disembark from the aircraft and it was not yet known when the plane would leave for its destination as it was still parked near the isolation bay of the runway.
Meanwhile, the plane has been cordoned off by security personnel at the airport.
