A new turn in Archana disappearance case
Patna, Sep 5 (UNI) The Archana case today took a new turn when a complaint of dowry death was filed by her mother against Archana's husband and in-laws in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Patna.
CJM Raghavendra Kumar Singh sent the petition to Gandhi maidan police station with a directive to register an FIR and for investigation of the case.
It is to be noted that Rani Archana Sinha, a lawyer had reportedly disappeared when she was travelling in a train with her husband few days back.
According to the complaint filed by Malti Devi, the mother of Archana, it is a case of murder of the bride within four months of marriage.
It was alleged that Archana's husband took all the jewellery in his possession and other in-laws demanded Rs 2.50 lakh.
A false story of disappearance of Archana was concocted by her husband and in-laws, the complaint further alleged.
