MP: 70 Hindu activists arrested

Indore, Sep 5: As many as 70 Hindu activists were arrested here last night for attempting to construct a temple at the Karbala ground here.

The arrests were made as a precautionary measure as the crowd, which had gathered for performing 'Maha Aarti' to snake-god, had minor altercation with the police also, Superintendent of Police Anshuman Yadav said.

About 25 people were arrested on similar situation on Tuesday last week, Mr Yadav added.
