2 people including a student arrested for poaching

Haldwani, Sep 5 (UNI) Two poachers, including a college student were arrested in the district and a leopard jaw and 11 nails recovered from their possession.

According to the police, Hitesh, a resident of Bhawalia and Naveen Puri who resides in Kaptkot, Bageshwar and is a BA II year student in Almora Degree College, were heading towards Delhi from Almora to sell off the animal parts when they were arrested at Gaulapar Bypass yesterday.

Presently both were staying at Pandey Khol in Almora district.

Both of them have been charged under Wildlife Act.
