Woman commits suicide after killing 2 minor children

Azamgarh, Sep 4 (UNI) After poisoning her two minor children, a woman allegedly committed suicide in Captanganj area of the district today.

According to police, village Kharkauli resident Premlata consumed poison after giving it to her children Himanshu (6) and three-year-old Richa.

The trio were rushed to hospital in critical condition, where they succumbed to death.

The reason behind the crime could not be known.

Investigations are going on.
