Vilasrao Deshmukh in Vidarbha tomorrow

Nagpur, Sep 4 (UNI) Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will be on a day's visit to Vidarbha region tomorrow.

Mr Deshmukh will arrive here by air from Mumbai tomorrow morning and immediately proceed to Gadchiroli by helicopter, according to an official release here today.

There, he is scheduled to attend a meeting with officials of the district administration, and then give away the state-level prizes to outstanding teachers at a function, the release said.

Later in the afternoon, Mr Deshmukh will proceed by helicopter to Warora in Chandrapur district, where he will call on noted social worker and Magsaysay award winner Baba Amte, who has been ailing for some time now, it said.

The Chief Minister will then proceed to Nagpur by helicopter, and return to Mumbai by air, the release added.
