Two day American Days fair in Lucknow from tomorrow

Lucknow, Sep 4 (UNI) The American Center New Delhi, will be celebrating 'America Days' an exposition of US cultural and education programs on the backdrop of 60 years of Indo-US relationship here from tomorrow.

The two day function will feature a wide range of activities, including discussion on education in the US with the city students, visit of senior Embassy officials with business and social leaders, street plays and musical performances by an American jazz group.

US Embassy cultural affairs officer Adnan Sidiquee told mediapersons here that the function will include documentary film screenings and presentations on ' Education in the USA',' Diversity in the US',' Life of an American Cowboy','Indians in America',' Muslim Life in America,' Magic with Words:Poetry from your pen' and American guitar styles'.

He said that the main attraction of the two day event wil be a public performance by US based Rhythm Road All- Stars Jazz Group and talks by American novelist Indu Sunderesan on ' Voices of Mughal Women in Fiction.
