Three die of diarrhoea

Mandsaur, MP, Sep 4 (UNI) Three people died of diarrhoea in the past two days, while about 12 people took ill and were admitted to hospitals at Ambikapur village in this district.

The deceased were identified as Omprakash Patidar (20), Krishnakumari (10) and Tina (13). Ten people were admitted to hospital in Sitamau and two were admitted to the district hospital.

District Hospital civil surgeon S K Mehta said a medical team reached the village and examined about 200 people and provided them necessary treatment. Blood samples of about 200 people were collected for test.

He said it was suspected that most people were affected by viral fever.

Collector M Geeta said doctors had been sent to Ambikapur village. Better treatment facility was being provided to all the affected.
