TASMAC employees observe fast to press demands

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 4 (UNI) Members of the AITUC-affiliated Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) Employees Union today went on a day's fast here to condemn the 'anti-employee' attitude of the senior regional manager of TASMAC, Tiruchirapalli.

Led by Union state president Soundira Pandiyan, the employees working in the TASMAC-run Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) shops in Tiruchirapalli, Karur, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Thanjavur and Nagapattinam districts, demanded that the TASMAC administration should not suspend any employees without proper inquiry and revoke the suspension of hundreds of innocent workers.
