Shortage of teachers: students resort to road-rokho

Puducherry, Sept 4 (UNI) Traffic between Puducherry and Villuppuram was affected for over three hours as the students of the Vaathanur Government High School resorted to a road blockade before the school today.

Demanding to fill up the vacant teachers posts immediately, the students along with their parents resorted to the road-rokho.

Senior officals of the education department rushed to the spot and assured to fulfill their demands, following which they called off their agitation.
