One militant killed, one surrender and another arrested in J&K

Srinagar, Sep 4 (UNI) Security forces gunned down a militant and arrested another while one ultra surrendered in Jammu and Kashmir overnight, official spokesman said today.

He said troops killed a militant in an encounter at Kund in Banihal district today. One AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

Another militant surrendered alongwith one AK rifle, two magzines, 70 rounds of ammunition, one pistol with one magzine and 72 rounds, four hand grenades and one wireless set at Doda.

Security forces arrested one suspect alongwith one hand grenade and 200 grams of narcotics at Arin, Bandipora in north Kashmir.
