Montek Singh Ahluwalia to deliver lecture tomorrow

Shimla, Sep 4 (UNI) Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission will deliver the twelfth Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishana Memorual Lecture on the occasion of the ''Teachers Day'' here tomorrow.

Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje would preside over the function, which is being organised by the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS).

The Institute organises Dr S Radhakrishanan Memorial Lecture every year on the ''Teachers's Day'' to mark the birth anniversary of the second President of India.

It is the most prestigious academic event of the Institute.

So far letures have been delivered at the Instititue by Professors K N Raj, J S Bajaj, Simon Balkburn, R R K Sorabji, Andre Beteille, M G K Menon, D P Chattopadhaya, Acharya Vishnu Kant Shastri, Murli Manohar Joshi, Justice R S Pathak and Prof Goverdhan Mehta.
