Mirwaiz likely to meet Advani tomorrow
New Delhi, Sept 4 (UNI) Seeking support from various political parties to revive the stalled peace talks, moderate Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq is likely to meet Leader of the Opposition L K Advani tomorrow.
Sources said the Mirwaiz, who is likely to be joined by his conglomerate colleagues Prof Abdul Ghani Bhat and Bilal Lone, is also expected to meet some Left leaders to drum up support for restarting talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, last held on May 4, 2006.
The Hurriyat and other separatist groups had refused to be part of all the three round-table conclaves convened by the Prime Minister since 2006.

Besides, Mr Advani, with whom the Hurriyat had held talks when he was the Deputy Prime Minister in the NDA regime, and the Left, the Mirwaiz is will also likely to meet some UPA coalition partners.
The moderate Hurriyat Chairman today held discussions with members of the Ram Jethmalani-led Kashmir Committee here.
Back channel efforts are also in progress to bring the talks back on track, the sources said.
