Man surrenders after murdering wife

Mysore, Sep 4 (UNI) A Mysore City Corporation safai worker surrendered before the police after allegedly murdering his wife today.

Police said Armugam, a daily wage worker, smothered his wife in his house while she was asleep. "She was a bad character. I was fed up living with her," he reportedly told the police.

He was arrested and remanded to custody.
