Health employees organise demonstration

Imphal, Sep 4 (UNI) A three day sit-in-demonstration will be organised by the Manipur Health Department(MHD) employees from tomorrow to protest the alleged threat on them.

The decision to organise the agitation was taken at an emergency meeting of employees last evening. It also unanimously resolved to urge all quarters not to put any pressure on the department.

The meeting also resolved to form a core committee for this purpose. Emergency services would, however, not be affected due to the agitation, the MHD employees assured.
