GVK signs MoU with Moveo Systems to mPower Mumbai Intl., Airport

Bangalore, Sep 4 (UNI) Mumbai International Airport Private Ltd., (MIAL), the joint venture consortium led by GVK, has signed a definitive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Moveo Systems, a Bangalore based start-up developing next generation interactive mobile solutions.

Under the MoU, Moveo's innovative mobility solutions would be utilised for development and deployment for enhancing passenger and operations experiences at the Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).

Moveo's mobility framework would enable passengers and CSIA team to access a host of services across the entire airport ecosystem and would be integrated across multiple backend applications thereby providing simple and easy to use interfaces for accession information, according to a release here today.

MIAL Managing Director and GVK Vice Chairman Sanjay Reddy said that "Moveo's solutions would enable to efficiently scale handle a whole spectrum of airport activities as we grow from handling over 20 million passengers today to over 40 million passengers in the near future".

Moveo Systems Private Limited Founder and Chief Executive Officer Sankalp Saxena said that "our innovative solutions would establish global benchmarks for mobility applications in the aviation sector across a host of services and would significantly enhance access to both critical and non-critical airport information across stakeholders."
