Govt urged to ensure return of stranded workers in Gulf
Hyderabad, Sep 4 (UNI) TRS leaders today urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to take pro-active steps for the safe return of workers stranded in Gulf countries on the lines of the Kerala Government.
A delegation of TRS leaders, led by Legislature Party Secretary G Vijayarama Rao, called on Dr Reddy and urged the government to arrange for safe return of the workers from the Gulf.
The workers were forced to go to the West Asian countries in search of greener pastures, he said, adding they were cheated by the agents.
