Five arrested for illegally crossing Indo-Bangla border
Shillong, Sep 4 (UNI) Five youths have been arrested for illegally crossing the Indo-Bangla border at Baburambill of Meghalaya, police said today.
The five were intercepted by Border Security Force personnel yesterday after they entered India without any valid documents.
The BSF also seized two foreign mobile handsets, two Bangladesh grameen SIM cards and kitchenwares from their possession.
The five, produced in court, were Salgra R Marak, Shanto R Marak, Hasan Ali, Feroz A Sangma and Saifiakul Ali.
