Dollex Ind acquires Kalamber co-op sugar facility for Rs 14 cr
New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Dollex Industries Ltd today said it has acquired Kalamber SSK, a co-operative sugar facility from the Maharashtra government for Rs 14 crores and plans to invest an additional amount of Rs 10 crores over the next one year.
The company will expand the sugar-crushing capacity of its unit to 10,000 tonnes crushed per day (TCD) and further add 100 Kilo Litres per day (KLPD) of ethanol capacity and 30 MW of co-generation power, the company said in a statement.
Dollex plans to acquire three more companies to fuel its three-year plan of becoming one of the largest integrated players in its segment, the statement added.
This is the second major co-operative sugar company acquired by Dollex in the past one year, the earlier being Godavari Manar SSK.
