Businessman seriously injured in acid attack

Mysore, Sep 4 (UNI) A businessman received serious burn injuries when his friend allegedly splashed acid on him in outskirts of the city.

Police said the accused fled along with the victim's car after throwing acid on him last night. The motive behind the attack was was said to be a financial dispute between the two.

Later the car was found abandoned in another extension in the city in the morning.

Satish Bhat, a financer who received burns on face and body, was admitted to a private hospital.

Police are on the look out for the attacker.
