6 including 4 women die in bus tanker collision
Dehradun, Sep 4 (UNI) Six persons, including 4 women, died and 12 were injured when a bus rammed into a tanker in Roorkie in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand today.
The accident occurred at 0800 hrs near Narser when a bus carrying passengers from WestBengal collided head on with a tanker standing at road side, killing six people and injuring 12, said Roorkie SDM office sources.
The injured have been admitted to Roorkie Civil Hospital while one in critical condition has been referred to Jollygrant hospital in Dehradun, sources added.
The bus was overspeeding when the accident occurred, said eye witnesses.
