Rail services on Ballia-Chhapra route hit as goods train overturns
Ballia, Sep 3 (UNI) Four wagons of a goods train today went off the track during shunting operations at Ballia railway station, disrupting rail traffic on the Ballia-Chhapra segment.
According to railway sources, at around 2015 hrs, four wagons of a goods train went off the rails during shunting due to a technical fault. Due to the accident, several trains, coming from the Chhapra side, had to be halted enroute.
No casualty was reported in the incident, the sources said, adding work to remove the coaches and repair the track was underway.
