Police remand of Vijender Arora extended for 2 more days
New Delhi, Sept 3 (UNI) A city court today extended the police remand of Vijender Arora, co- accused in the school sex racket case, for two more days after the investigation was transferred to the crime branch of Delhi police.
Arora was arrested and sent into a day-long police custody yesterday.
The main accused in the case, Uma Khurana, was also remanded into judicial custody till September 15 by the duty magistrate yesterday.
Khurana, senior mathematics teacher in Government Sarvodaya Girls Senior Secondary School at Daryaganj, was caught 'red-handed' on camera during a sting operation, broadcast on Wednesday, ''trading'' a student.
According to the TV report, the teacher would take nude photographs of girl students who visited her house for tuition after drugging them. She would then coerce them into prostitution by threatening to get their photographs published.
