Nagaland Governor on dual charge of AP

Kohima, Sep 3: Nagaland Governor K Sankaranarayanan will leave for Itanagar today to take over the post of Governorship of Arunachal Pradesh from tomorrow.

According to official sources here Governor Sankaranarayanan would leave Kohima today for Itanagar, where he will stay for the night and will attend the swearing-in ceremony as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow morning.

He will continue to hold the dual charge until the appointment of a new Governor for Arunachal Pradesh.

It may be mentioned here that he had held the same post for a brief period when the then Governor of Arunachal Pradesh was on a leave.
