Ashok Malhotra sent into police custody till Sep 12

New Delhi, Sept 3 (UNI) Special CBI judge S K Kaushik today sent Ashok Malhotra, the main accused in the multi-crore DDA land scam case, to judicial custody till September 12.

Yesterday, S C Garg, another accused in the case, was sent to judicial custody till September 12.

Arguments on their bail application will be heard on September 7.

The jail authorities had been instructed by the judge to provide special security to Malhotra and bring him separately from other prison inmates as a precautionary measure.
