Two killed and three injured in rain related incidents in Raj

Jaipur, Sept 2(UNI)Two people were killed in rain related incidents while three suffered burn injuries in lightning in Rajasthan as the south west monsoon revived over some parts of the state.

According to police a girl was killed as she fell into a drainage in Kishangarh township in Ajmer district yesterday while another person was killed in house collapse.

Three people including a woman have been injured as they were struck by lightning during heavy rains at Akoda village under Amer Tehsil in Jaipur district.

According to the Met department in the last 24 hours rain continued to lash at many places in the state. Todaraisingh tehsil in Tonk district reported 97 mm while Tonk recorded 45mm, Jaipur 50mm, Ajmer district's Kishangarh recored 60mm, Bhinai 50mm, Virat nagar 31mm, Kekdi 30mm, Pali district's Raipura 53mm, Pokhran in Jaisalmer 55mm, Nokh 36mm, Barmer 30mm, Sadulpur in Churu district reported 34mm, Bhilwara district's Agucha 64mm, Akhaltep 57mm, Jahajpur 37, Nagaur district's Ladloo 45, Bharatpur district's Roopwas 50mm, Badi in Dholpur 57mm, Sawai Madhopur 55mm, Ladpura in Kota 80mm, Kota city 51, Amet in Rajsamand 70 mm of rain.

Rain at many places were forcast for the next twenty four hours.
