SUCI to boycott all party meet tomorrow on chemical hub

Kolkata, Sep 2 (UNI) Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today decided to boycott the West Bengal Government's proposed all party meeting tomorrow on setting up a chemical hub in the state.

SUCI's state secretary Provash Ghosh, in a letter to state chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, said his party would not attend the meeting as it did not support setting of industries on arable lands.

A copy of the letter, which was released here, said the ruling Left Front government was following its ''adamant attitude'' towards many issues, which were against the common people.
