Hyd blasts: SIT in B'lore to nab Bangla national

Hyderabad, Sep 2: Four groups of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the twin blasts that rocked the city on August 25, today left for Bangalore to trace absconding Bangladeshi national Ridwan Gazi, suspected to be involved in the blasts which claimed 45 lives.

Police sources said the SIT teams left for Bangalore based on the information provided by Gazi's sister Shafirafsanjani, who was arrested yesterday.

The teams would also work with the Bangalore police to trace Gazi, who's face closely resembles the sketch released by the investigation team in connection with the blasts case.

Gazi and his sister were living in the city without a passport.

Both had also obtained a driving licence, ration card and a Pan card through fake documents.

The SIT has also taken into custody two Pakistani and two Bangladeshi nationals, who were lodged in the city without passports.
