'Munnabhai' adopts 'Gandhigiri' takes no special favour for yatra

Jammu, Sept 2 (UNI) Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt did not avail himself of any VIP favour as he proceeded for the 'darshan' of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Trikuta hills at Katra in Jammu and Kashmir.

There was no information with the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine board(SMVB) for special arrangements for Dutt's visits.

''We have not received any intimation of Sanjay Dutt's visit or request for priority darshans to their group,'' SMVB, CEO, Puneet Kumar told UNI.

The 'Munnabhai MBBS' star, who arrived at Jammu airport on a chartered plane this afternoon, was accompanied by his 'girlfriend' Manyata and three others.

From airport, the group proceeded towards Katra town by road.

'Munnabhai' was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blast case and awarded six-year rigorous imprisonment by a Tada court. He is presently out on interim bail in the case.
