J&K CM takes charge of Forest, Environment and Ecology
Srinagar, Sep 2 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has taken away the portfolio of Forest, Environment and Ecology from Qazi Mohammad Afzal and kept the charge of the ministry with himself, an official spokesman said tonight.
According to a government order, the portfolio of Forest, Environment and Ecology would henceforth remain with the Chief Minister.
The reasons for divesting Mr Afzal of the charge was yet to be known.
