E-library launched for benefit of legal fraternity

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 2 (UNI) Justice Elipe Dharma Rao of the Madras High Court has called on advocates to continue the process of learning and imbibe the habit of reading.

Inaugurating an e-law library at a local bar here lastnight, he pointed out that the process of learning is unending. Reading more and more would enable them to address the grievances of the litigants better.

It would also enable the advocates to reach the peak in their profession, he added.

He also urged advocates to make full use of the e-law Library through which a host of legal information, including the judgments of various courts and legal articles could be accessed by a click of the mouse.

Tamil Nadu Bar Council Chairman R K Chandramohen pointed out that the Bar Council had planned to impart training to lawyers on legal education across the state from next month. The e-law Library would enable the legal fraternity to access the judgments online, he added.
