Dental surgeon held for sending obscene SMSs to patient

Varanasi, Sep 2 (UNI) A dental surgeon was arrested from the Sigra area here today for allegedly sending obscene SMSs to a female patient.

Dr R S Vishwanath (32), a dental surgeon, was arrested from his private clinic in ABC Tower for trying to molest a female patient and later sending obscene SMSs to her, police said.

A complaint had been lodged by the female patient, who is preparing for the civil services examinations at a hostel in Lahurabir area of the city.

In the complaint, she alleged that the medico first tried to molest her inside his clinic recently and later started sending her obscene SMSs, police added.

The doctor, however, denied all charges, saying ''he is being framed in the matter.'' The police claimed that Dr Vishwanath was nabbed only after the charges against him were found to be true.
