Pillion rider killed after Blueline hits motorcycle at Okhla
New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) The killer Blueline today claimed another life when the bus hit a motorcycle near Okhla Phase II, killing the pillion rider on the spot.
Bhanwar Singh, 28, was killed on the spot after the Blueline bus, operating on route number 433 between Central Workshop and Jantar Mantar, hit the motorcycle, being driven by Singh's nephew, Ritu, at 1530 hours, police said.
Ritu, however, sustained minor injuries, police said.
A resident of Ata in Uttar Pradesh, Singh had come to Delhi to visit his sister residing at Harkesh Nagar in South Delhi.
The driver of the bus fled the spot, the police said.
